Michel Pleau graduated in industrial design. He participated in his first group exhibition back in 1974 and for close to ten years, he held annual solo exhibits. He has shown many of his works in New York, France and Spain. In the past few years he contributed to various publications and has won several awards, namely the first prize at the 1989 Canadian Painting Awards. For Michel Pleau, direct contact with nature remains the greatest source of inspiration and joy. For the past five years, his brush has been the spatula which he uses with poetry and freedom.<\/p>\n
